Visiting Magnetite’s newest franchise in Singapore

at PLACE Group. Apart from meeting the team, this visit was an opportunity to learn more about the local market and culture which will allow Magnetite (Australia) to provide better franchise support. Adrian Lafleur commented “Following the growth of our brand in Australia and New Zealand, we are excited to see Magnetite in Singapore, where the response has been extremely positive.”

While in Singapore, Adrian joined Carisa Mann, the Managing Director of PLACE Group to attend a couple of Magnetite installations and assessment. One of the installations was for a family who wanted to ensure their son’s room was peaceful and quiet to allow him to concentrate on his studies. Magnetite Singapore retrofitted a 10mm Magnetite Easyglide internal to the existing aluminium window. A 100mm air cavity was created to provide the best soundproofing. Magnetite retrofit double glazing not only soundproofed the room but also sealed the leaky windows improving the comfort and reducing the air conditioning load.

“We are thrilled to bring Magnetite’s innovative double glazing system to Singapore. Singapore is such a noisy city with the MRT and motor ways such as the PIE and CTE. With all the high-rises it makes sense to have an internally fitted window system rather than trying to replace individual windows. ”said Carisa Mann, PLACE Group.
