Just like many of us, Melbournians want to come home and enjoy peace and quiet within the comfort of their own homes after a long day at work. As the population in Melbourne steadily increases, noise problem become unavoidable, particularly in a high-density living area.

Sydney's weather is mostly dry in the spring, but humid in the summer, and certainly, no one likes coming home to a home that feels like a heat box. Mixed-use precincts are on the rise in the city of Canberra – with many residents living in close proximity to commercial and business premises. Couple that with changes in work structures (employees working from home or choosing hybrid work models) which have created a new normal. The quiet neighbourhoods that Canberrans once enjoyed are now on the brink of change, and with that comes the problem of noise.
