Just a quick note to say ‘thank you’ for installing the ‘Sound Aluminium System’ windows in my new apartment – they are wonderfully effective!
When I purchase my new unit I didn’t think the noise was too bad, but decide to have the secondary windows installed in both bedrooms as they faced the noise from the traffic and late night revellers. The difference was immediately noticeable – I am now disturbed by the ticking clock in the kitchen! The noise level from outside has been greatly reduced.
I appreciate the professionalism of all staff involved with the purchase – from the free measure and quote to the final installation. I was kept informed the whole time and everyone was courteous and helpful. Everyone was prompt and they couldn’t have been more helpful or understanding.
I am so happy with the product that I am now having the same window system installed in the kitchen and lounge room to reduce the noise that travels down the side of the building.
Again, thank you for making this such an easy process and for a product I highly recommend.

Our home was so cold we were seriously considering selling. We had magnetite installed on our most wind prone character windows in 2010. We were absolutely delighted with the reduction in noise and heat loss so ordered a bigger instalment when our budget allowed in 2011. Magnetite has proven a relatively affordable and extremely effective solution and our 1908 creaky old lady is now cozy and homey.

I am absolutely delighted with my new double glazing. It has made such a difference to the noise level in my apartment. I could not believe last night that I noticed all sorts of different indoor sounds (water in sink, clicking of crockery) that are normally blocked out by my hearing because of the constant background noise within the city. I also noticed that the big lounge/dining area was warmer. Previously it was always cold in that part of my apartment but now it feels cosy and warm!

Thank you for your interest in how we are getting on with the Great Eastern Highway upgrade works, right on the hotel boundary.
I’m very glad we went ahead with installation of the Magnetite secondary glazing to the bedroom windows exposed to the highway. We have only had a few noise complaints, and given the nature and extent of the works that is very pleasing. The general traffic noise has been reduced considerably which will be an on-going benefit for us after the roadworks are complete.
We appreciate your efforts in scheduling the installation to fit in with our guest arrivals and departures thus creating minimal disruption to our business operations.

Magnetite was approached to offer an acoustic glazing solution to a Heritage Building with noise issues. From day one, the advice and service has been excellent, after hours works were performed cleanly, safely and efficiently and all installation dates promised have been delivered. 'Living just metres away from a busy container port and railway shunting operation, our job was always going to present a challenge for Magnetite. However as a result of excellent planning and workmanship by Scott, as well as the top class Magnetite product, it has worked completely as advertised. Noise from early morning trains and container unloading has been reduced by around 75% to a barely audible muffle. We couldn't be happier with the outcome'.

Further to our discussion and your request for feedback regarding the product and services your company provided via our head contractor Buildcorp for the recent dust and noise mitigation project in Maison Dieu. The Magnetite window panels supplied and installed as part of this project has achieved the expected results in minimizing the noise impact of our mine operations. The window paneling system can be retrofitted, without having to carry out major structural works which can be the case when having to replace windows and this helped to minimise the impacts to the building occupants. This also meant a lot less was needed to install, as work could be carried out in all weather situations.
Not only have we been able to address residents’ noise and dust concerns, I am extremely pleased with the cost benefit of using a retrofit system, compared to traditional double glazing. The thermal insulation benefits also have an impact which should result in less running costs for the air conditioning units we installed. We welcome the opportunity of working with you again on future projects. Thankyou!

"I would like to give your product a very large tick. I didn't realise how much outside noise we could hear until Magnetite was fitted. I must admit though the heat saving we are experiencing is incredible, and with the very low temperatures at the moment it was installed just in time. It has really made our home more comfortable this winter. I also found it is not noticeable when looking through the windows which I must admit was one of my fears. "The system is not only cheaper than standard double glazing, it also has the added advantage that the internal mount installation means that you not only insulate the glass panes, you also very effectively draft-proof the entire window.
Condensation problems have also been almost completely eradicated.
We now live in a house where we can pull the thermal curtains in the morning and enjoy what little winter sunlight is around, without feeling like we are throwing money out the windows trying to keep the house warm.
The panels are quite unobtrusive to look at, easy and convenient to move.
The Magnetite guys have also been wonderful with the installation - quick and friendly.
I have already recommended this insulation system to several friends and family and would have no problem giving 100% approval."
